Chimi Oslo is located in the department store Sten & Strøm, situated in central Oslo. The store is part of the initiative to modernise Sten & Strøm’s offerings and design, aligning it with contemporary department store standards.

The store addresses a complex layout with curved walls that focus attention on the products while discreetly concealing storage and fitting rooms. All furniture and walls were produced off-site in Sweden, delivered in sections, and assembled on-site. The walls are finished with Italian stucco, and the floor is laid with silver-grey travertine. The curved tables are made from anodised aluminium.
