PARTNERS:

CAMPUS was founded by architects Johan Berglund and Jani Kristoffersen. Together, they hold more than 40 years of collective professional experience across various disciplines, including architecture, interiors, landscape, and urban design.

Johan has over 20 years of international experience working on a diverse range of architectural projects that are known for their exceptional quality and creativity. In 2009, he founded 42 architects in London, UK, after having successfully worked as a senior architect and associate at several internationally renowned architectural practices. The work of 42 Architects was characterised by its wide ranging scope and creative output, which was highly influenced by his time as a student and unit director at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. In 2020, he joined forces with Jani to form CAMPUS, where they could combine their talents more effectively. Throughout his career, Johan has been focused on designing innovative and engaging spaces intended for public use, emphasizing the important synergies between buildings and their surrounding urban environments.

Jani possesses extensive experience in both architecture and interiors. He launched Guise Architects in 2008 and has since delivered several notable and award-winning projects in the cultural and commercial sectors, earning recognition for his innovative approach. Jani was the lead architect and advisor to Fotografiska Museum, and has continued to engage with the strategic development of cultural institutions. In recent years, Jani has turned his attention toward the development of socially sustainable housing solutions, and was one of the co-founders of the architect-led development company Inkluderande Fastigheter. Since 2020, his primary focus has been dedicated to CAMPUS, where he and Johan are committed to designing and developing innovative, sustainable projects that will positively impact communities for years to come.
