Chimi’s store at Kungsgatan 6 first opened in 2019, but was recently updated with a new interior. We designed both the original and the updated store.

The store at Kungsgatan was Chimi’s first and has been characterized by cost-effective solutions. The furniture and shelves are made of galvanized sheet metal that has been bent, screwed, and glued. The wall panels were developed through tests with a CNC milling machine combined with hand tools to create entirely unique fractured surfaces with minimal manual labor. The ceiling consists of suspended lighting fixtures typically used in structural systems.

This store is part of the ongoing brand journey that Chimi has undergone since Campus completed their first project for the brand in 2019.
